INSIDE SALES
Segrest Farms, a leading wholesaler of ornamental freshwater and marine fish based in the Tampa, FL, area, is seeking qualified applicants for full-time inside sales representative positions.
Candidates will:
- Develop new business by cold calling andprospecting independent pet retailers nationwide
- Build and maintain relationships with customers via phone and electronic communication
- Perform daily assessments of all in stock items in order to communicate item-specific information including quality, sizing, and rarity to customers
- Enter and coordinate customer purchase orders
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of tropical fish species and aquarium husbandry. Experience with marine fish, reef aquaria and reptiles preferred.
- Minimum 3 years industry experience in retail pet or equivalent position with an aquatics specialty wholesaler/distributor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented and an excellent communicator. Position is entry-level base salary+ commission and performance bonuses.
